how can i fix my very old creda storage heater ?

my daughter covered it with some towels and it smelt funny and now it will not heat up. can anyone help

my storeage heater as home and away on it but it as no markings on it so i dont know were to put the dials

It sounds as if the thermal fuse has melted.
If you look through the grill you may be able to see the fuse, it looks like a bar of solder, if this is broken then thats your answer.
You can buy them quite easily online, just check the model number to make sure your getting the right one

it sounds quite possibly that something as over heated inside the heater as you should never cover them
my guess is if it isn't heating up possibly the element has gone inside
