how do i remove the alternator on a citroen c3 to change it?

To remove this bolt use a short flat 17 mil spanner and guide it into position by feeling the head of the bolt. you will be able to move it but very gradually. It is awkward but doable!

I have the same problem, you support the front of the car and remove the driver wheel, then the plastic mud cover by pulling out the plastic pins and a couple of screws.
Remove the belt by removing the tentioner, belt can be removed by pushing the tentioner back with a pipe or something, but unless you remove the tentioner one of the alternator bolts can not be accessed.

Alternator is secured with four bolts, two on top and two on the botom. the air pipes need to be removed to access them and remove the alternator from the top.
I am stuck as can not access the forth bolt, the botom right which is just next to exhust manifould heat shield.
Please help if you know how
