ibm t-43 loose white wire coming out from the monitor?

got a used rebuilt t43 on ebay - had to open it up because it wouldn't start reading the o.s. disk - ended up finding a loose wire - white in color - coming from the lcd monitor - have no idea where it is suppose to connect - reaches to the edge of the hidden stick of ram under the keyboard. it will also reach to the modem plug area - or to the little bag like thing that is tucked in between the ram and the 2 internet plug in slots

I have the same problem. What does the wireless network card look like and where exactly in the card does the white wire plug in? The white wire was under the CDC and couldn't see where/what it was originally plugged into. Thanks!
