how can i fix the door lock on my hotpoint fdw60?

The door on my dishwasher (hotpoint fdw60) will not lock into place.How do i repair this.

the same has happened on mine and it turned out to be a spring which had snapped inside the door assembly. A replacement can be bought on the internet for £5.99 at www.4hotpoint.co.uk
