My Hoover 1100 Washer dryer does not dry the clothes?

Sometimes my Hoover 1100 washer/dryer drys the clothes in it. But more often it leaves them damp, almost soaking as if they have been through a wash cylce. The heater is working because the clothes are warm and damp. It is as if the condenser is not removing the water or adding moisture to the clothes for some reason. The pump sounds like it is working during the dryer cycle. The pump works fine on the wash cylce. Is there a filter or something that could be casuing this?

The plastic condensor on the rear of the tub will probally be blocked with fluff, preventing the hot air from circulating correctly between the fan housing and the tub lower hole. Also check that there is nothing blocking the pump or drain hose e.g 5p piece stuck in the drain hose at pump end.

Hi!,

I'm actually having the exact same problem. Watching for responses with interest. Does it have anything to do with the filters? Have mislaid hte manual and wonder whether it is possible to access these to clean them....
