most machines you take the top lid off, can then see a lot more,check if the motor bracket has a elongated slot to adjust belt tension ,if not line the belt up centrally on the motor pulley then put the belt onto the big pulley as the belt starts to get tight rotate the pulley to pull the belt onto the pulley, (like putting a chain back on a bike)
