My car cd multi disc change will not eject? It keeps saying err. It will not play either. The rest of the system works, ie radio cassette. Is there something short of ripping it out and opening it up to get my cds back?

Some car cd players seem to lock up for no reason.Try removing the power (disconnect the car battery).Remember that some units need a unlock code to be entered when power is resumed.If this doesn't work it may be the mech thats jammed or stuck!Hope this helps
