fix my modem?

i have an iqon modem which i now cant get to start up as it keeps coming up with fatal errors. what do i do apart from smashing it up

Fatal Error is not a modem fault it is a Windows error. I suggest that you reinstall the modem drivers on your PC. You may want to download the latest version from the Modem manufacturer's Web site.
