Thomson DT16300 Orange flashing LED?

I have a Thomson DT16300, and the orange LED is flashing continuously not letting me any further into the unit to try and reset, I have tried the usual powering down, Is it dead ?

I and many others now have the same problem, suspect TUTV have sent out an update to stop us non subscribers continuing to use the units.

Many thanks Steve for your reply to ..Thomson DT16300 Orange flashing LED? I did explain to TUTV the situation to which the subscription has now been cancelled. probably take your advice now and get a Humax. thanks again mate... look into the sky you might see a UFO in the shape of a Thomson unit.!

Chris, just contacted TUTV and they told me that the problem is the hard drive is kaput and to throw the box away or take out an annual subscription with them at £10pm. If I were you I would but a Humax pvr 9150T box instead, if you can find one, they have great reviews. Steve

I have exactly the same problem, when weather was bad it simply switched off and won't come back on whatever I do. If you find out how to fix it let me know please.
