the ignition switch fails to ignite ?

the ignition switch fails to ignite the whirlpool gas hob, can I get a spare and will I be able to replace it
I am unable to find the model number sorry!

Most of the new one are quite easy to replace. If it is the oblong switch about 1 inch x1/2 inch, with the power off prize the switch up with a small screwdriver and pull it out of the hole. Be careful when changing the wires over as they might fall into the hole the switch was in. Reconnect new switch and power on.
