my desktop works but tower does not come on

While I'm on the computer, no matter the program, after awhile (5mins./45 mins.) the tower shuts off, why? I've had the tower to the repair shop and they find nothing wrong. I've changed the plugs, it still turns off. Any ideas?

You're a bit vague with your question. I presume that what you're saying is that your Monitor comes on no problem but when you switch the Power on button on your Computer Tower nothing happens and it's dead, is that right?

Sounds to me like you need to replace your CPU and Fan unit as i had that problem a few months back and it fired up to life straight away and has been working fine since.
