How can I get my mouse moving, again?

In the middle of me sending an email, my mouse stop moving. Its a compaq presario cq50. This laptop is borrowed. I need help now, thanks.

If you can look on the keyboard for a (Fn) key then look for a key with a small mouse like icon on it, press the (Fn) key then press the mouse key, should sort it out.
