How can I keep my Frigidaire Gallery Washing Machine running?

Hi, all! Got a Frigidaire Gallery front-loader that recently stopped wanting to run, unless we pile stuff in front of it to put pressure on the door. It looks as though whatever pressure-switch activates the run-cycle has gotten pushed in about 1/16", and just normal closing of the door will no longer activate it.

Is this a fixable issue? Is it fixable without calling a repairman? And if so, where can I find a list of parts, etc.?

TIA for anything y'all can offer. I appreciate it!

sounds like you need a new door interlock, this can be done but you will have to take a look first to see if you can remove and replace it without to much effort, + I would check with the local spares shop to see how much a new one will cost. they can be expencive.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO WORK ON A W/M WITH IT PLUGGED IN TO THE MAINS.
