when i switch on my dell 5100 it wont let me log into anything as there are no icons and no task bar . how can i reboot the computer if there is nothing on screen that i can get in to.
Try booting your Laptop in Safe Mode and if you get in that way, i'd so a System Restore from there, shut it down once that's done and restart and hopefully this will cure your problem
