Hot water wont turn on =(?

So last night around 11pm I went to wash my face and brush my teeth and my hot water would not turn on. I tried all faucets, in the bathroom and kitchen. Please tell me its not a serious problem I am freaking out.

Do you have a combi boiler or a system/regular boiler. You can tell the diffirence by the number of pipes under the boiler, if you have 6 copper pipes and no cylinder in an airing cupboard then you have a combi, if you have a cylinder in an airing cupboard and 3 pipes under the boiler then you have a system/regular boiler. To know this would be a start. Thanks

Could just be an airlock. Try pulling through hot water using a hoover. Sounds daft but works. Is your cold water storage tank full or maybe something has fallen in it and is blocking feed to hot water cylinder.

It is not a serious problem - annoying perhaps but not serious. Consult a heating expert for the hot water issue and consider a counsellor for your anxiety complex.

Good luck... Stay calm...
