My dishwasher will not empty?

After the cycle has run there is water still left in it. Any ideas to to my problem. It is a zanussi dishwasher.

Clean the fillters and have a look to see it the pump is blocked or the waste pipe

Probably the Solenoid Valve is not working, if all the hoses are clear. Try removing the pump and checking for blockages.
