i have a hot point first edition 800 wm51 and just recently its been playing up, i went to do the washing and it goes so far through the cycle and as its about to spin...it stays still. At first water leaked, so i checked the pipes and cleaned them but still the same problem with it not spinning. Any ideas welcome. cheers.

Has drum emptied.?. =new pump leaks under w/m door seal. Drum not turning = pos new brushes or motor.

Bit late I suppose,seeing that its now November, but its usually the motor brushes need replacing. They only last 12 months or so; dead easy to replace as well. Cheap to buy on ebay.
