I chipped the base of a small cut glass antique rummer, which is still intact and standing. However, there is an ugly 3-4cms chip on the foot. The glass is still very useable, but the chipped area is sharp and potentially dangerous. It would prefer to try and get it restored, if the costs are reasonable, however, if not, I would like to make it 'safe'. Do you have any suggestions, please ?
