My Hotpoint WD860 is not Drying even though the program is running?

My Hotpoint WD860 is not Drying even though the Drying program is running and no error codes are being displayed. What is the likely cause of this?

Front sensor on the heater air box is faulty machine will run with no codes but not get hot. This sensor controls the operation temp of the machine when drying. to change remove cover and unscrew from inside.
