WTF? You say get a new one when it breaks and is unrepareable? Waht do you want a new one for?

I disagree about the quality of their service to consumers. I have a Polti steam cleaner and have now tried contacting them in Asia, and Italy - both email and telephone several times for accessories - and they do not return the calls. The sad thing is that I now have fully functioning equipment and without some basic replacements - can't use the product. I am having to purchase other equipment.

It is probably the heat block or possibly the boiler. If you have recently de-scaled the appliance this would cause a blockage which may result in the heater unit failing. The cost of repair may outweigh the cost of getting a new one. Parts may be obtained from polti uk or in Italy. Most service dealers don't seem interested in repairing it and Polti aren't very quick at responding to trade requests. However their customer service to consumers can't be faulted. My recommendation is to bin it and get a new one.
