water coming out of soap drawer when taking in water especially on the rinse spin part of the program

Hi there, i had this problem with a whirlpool and it turned out that the soap drawer was blocked with washing powder, i solved this by taking out the soap drawer and pouring hot water down the powder inlet till it had washed away the hardened powder so give this a try. hope this works.
