when i press the cd button on the radio i get the message no disc
but all the discs are in the magazine

Are the discs compatiable? Sometimes if you are using cd/rw with mp3 tracks stored on them the cd player does not recognize or read them. You also need to burn them for use with all cd players If they are mp3 tracks try converting them to wma, try a genuine cd first to see if it is your player or the cd (I am not implying that your cd's are not genuine)
