OVERHEATING OF MAYTAG FRIDGE /FREEZER?

my maytag model number G32026PELB is not cooling in the fridge section but okay in the freezer section , any ideas as to the problem ?

We had similar problem until i got in touch with a company who service the london and surrey area www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk they came out found and rectified fault no problem since.

If it's frosted up in the freezer section, defrost it manually with a hair drier, run it up and see if all seems ok, if it seems to work ok it will probably be a heater problem or a timer problem. Test heater with a ohms meter, if it is open circuit then its the heater, if it gives an ohms reading then its probably timer, test this by manually winding on with a screwdriver till it clicks and see if heater warms up, you need to do this when the thermistor has cooled enough to engage the heater.
