water damage to motorola v3?

how can i repair?

i have managed to get it on, but the keypad does not work only the on and off botton.
do u know how i could get the keypad to work.

As I've mentioned on previous similar posts, it's probably still got a small amount of water in it.

I suggest keeping it switched off and placing your phone under a gentle heat source i.e. 60 watt lamp, over night, making sure the bulb is about 8 inches apart from your phone. I saw this method on the gadget show.

Alternatively, place the phone in your airing cupboard, (switched off), for a week. This fixed the same problem for me.

Also, if you can loosen the case screws in the phone (may need a tiny screwdriver bit avalible online), this will help speed up the drying time.
