My Hotpoint DWT10 dishwasher has a 'drain pump' fault?

I've taken the bottom of the dishwasher, but can't seem to find an filters or pipes that I can check to see if there is a blockage. Has anyone encountered this problem and if so please share your findings with me.

I'd try the easy option first - Pour loads of washing soda in the bottom of the machine and then a kettle full of boiling water. Leave it for a few minutes and run the machine for a few seconds (to push the solution further along the pipes. try that a couple of times and see if it unclogs things.
It might work!
