moisture damage to my sony ericsson c905?

i have moisture damage to my phone, which has caused me to be unable to use the camera and if i make or answer a call i need to put the phone on speaker. the question i would like to ask is can i do anything that could stop me having to put it on speaker when i answer the phone.

i had this problem and found an easy and cheap solution to the problem, its a common fault with these handsets which sony will charge a small fortune to repair when you can quite easily do it yourself.
If you have skype then you can contact me there where i will talk you through what needs to be done.

this happened to my phone and it is a fault with the phone it will either be the speaker in the phone or a ribbon needs replaced thats what I was told , it will still be under warranty but dont mention the water if you can or claim of your home insurance .

i have the same problem but it is not moisture in the phone. My phone hasnt ever been anywhere near moisture. It just started playing up and it just doesnt work and sonyericsson do not have a page on their website where you can request it to be fixed..

It's probably still got a small amount of water in it.

I suggest placing your phone under a gentle heat source i.e. 60 watt lamp, over night, making sure the bulb is about 8 inches apart from your phone. I saw this method on the gadget show.

Alternatively, place the phone in your airing cupboard for a week. This fixed the same problem for me.
