I have a johnson and starley jb40-50 that keeps cutting out, the right hand burners fully ignite on start up but the slowly extinguish from the back to the front thus allowing the thermal switch to cool and shut off the gas supply. It appears to be an airflow problem any ideas that can help.

Sounds like either the flueways are blocked or the heat exchanger has cracked.Hope its the first as it will need a stripdown and a good clean out.
