vaillant ecomax pro 28e error code 5?

Hi,
I've just come across an error code 5 on a vaillant ecomax pro 28e. Does anyone know what the error message is indicating? The user manual is not available here.

Check the overheat stat.It may have tripped.This happened to my Ecomax pro 28 last night when the heating failed and a code 5 error was displayed.The engineer replaced a faulty Overheat stat

I have just had error code 5 also, I turned my heating on for the first time tonight and turned all the radiators off except the bathroom one, all working then noticed that the boiler was flashing red with an error code 5, what can I do to try and fix this. Thanks michelle

Overheat Fault
Overheat stat operated; maximum tempreture exceeded;Check theristor connections; Air in system with thermistor at maximum setting; faulty overheat stat connection; Check that pump is wired into appliance not programmer. This would cause no pump overrun.
