how can i fix my magimix 5100?

The switch has broken and i need to remove the base for access. Unfortunately the screws of torque head type have an antitamper device-a pip in the centre which prevents a normal torque screw driver from being inserted. Is there anyway round this as magimix are unwilling to supply the correct type of screw driver.

how do i replace spindle of my magimix food processor?

I bought a set of anti tamper, torque allen keys at the weekend that did the trick.

John,

I'm not surprised that Magimix won't sell sell you the screwdriver - (a) they use these screws to stop people doing their own maintenance and (b) they are not in business to sell tools...

A good tool shop will sell you a kit of driver bits - a DIY store will brobably have them too - all you need is the Hex driver handle to slip them into.

Good luck...
