Have power but no microwave?

Have Kenwood ST/SS25 and found that although the light is on and turntable revolvs around there is no microwave being "sent".

Hi, typical m/wave syndrome, if the magnetron or any of its high voltage mates fail you get this result, on the other hand far more often the fault lies with the safety interlock switches and the monitor fuse, either way same result. contact a pro.

From Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_oven

A microwave oven consists of:

* a high voltage transformer, which passes energy to the magnetron
* a cavity magnetron, which converts high-voltage electric energy to microwave radiation
* a magnetron control circuit (usually with a microcontroller)
* a waveguide
* a cooking chamber

Something in this list is probably defective...
