Sanyo Memo scriber TR7030?

The machine itself is working but it is playing tapes really slowly (sounds like something off "The Omen"!) Can it be fixed?

Hi Debbie,
I am a dictation engineer and i can confirm that your problem with very slow speed is caused by the motor.
