BLEEDING RADS?

HI
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WETHER YOU TURN THE BOILER OFF BEFORE BLEEDING THE RADS AND ALSO IS THERE AN ORDER TO WHICH RAD SHOULD BE BLED FIRST I.E. NEAREST THE BOILER OR UPSTAIRS.
