PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE help!

We have had a pair of BT freestyle 310 phones for a while, but for some unknown reason we cant get the touch tone aspect of either phone to work - ie, when you need to select 1, 2 or whatever on the phone when listening to one of those insanely annoying menu systems we all have to deal with, nothing happens!

Is there some way of activating touch tone on these phones? Cant find anything in the manual/on the web...starting to go insane....!

Chris you are a wonderful person, I've been trying to change pulse to tone for months with no sucses, nothing in the manual to help, thank god for people like you.

Ive had the same problem and no it doesnt show you in the manual, which i think is pretty poor. Heres what to do :

Dial mode
Your BT Freestyle 310 is pre-set to Tone (DTMF) dialing.
If required, you can change this setting to Pulse dialing.
1. Press Menu. Scroll to Settings menu and press OK.
2. Scroll to Setup base and press OK.
3. Scroll to Dial mode and press OK.
4. Scroll or to highlight Tone or Pulse, then press OK.
5. Press to return to standby.

It makes it a lot easier!!
