I've got the replacement but cant figure out how the spring goes back.

no need to replace door, just replace the handle, ( find spare parts on ebay).

go to you,re local spare parts supplier (yellow pages)tell them you require a door assy for the above model.two screws removed at door hinge allows you to do the change over.b
