Fisher Paykel GWL11 Error code 49?

The machine worked fine, and having moved to my new house and installing the washer, as soon as the plug was put in the receptacle, the machine makes a noise like the pump is on and the second and third wash lights and spin light are blinking and machine beeps. Factory says display shows error code 49. Something to do with water switch or water to the unit. Any insight?

Code 49 is signalling a fault with cold water inlet valve. Turn power off at wall. Remove screws & open panel. Look for the two inlet valves on left hand side of main control box inside panel. They will each have two wires. Make sure that wires are plugged into the valve properly. Even pays to disconnect the wires & reconnect them to make sure. They may of become dislodged during the shift. If that doesn't cure it then either the cold valve is faulty or there is a fault in the main controller box.
