My fridge and freezer is not getting as cold as it shoulld. All the stuff in my freezer is defrosting. I have turned the temprature up to no avail. Not sure if this is the thermostat or a gassing problem. Could you direct me to a technician please? My fridge is about 4yrs old-double door

If the motor runs for a long time but the inside doesn't get cold then it is probably short of gas. If motor only runs for a short time then stops before the inside is very cold then it is probably a thermostat problem. We don't know where you live so you will have to ask around or look in your local phone book for a service company.
