My dishwasher wont start cycle , i press wash cycle , all sequences light up but nothing happens for a minute or so then water starts to kick in then stops wait a few more minutes then the cycle i pressed and drying start flashing. Can you please tell me what that means and is it an easy fix because i bought machine in UK but now live in Australia

is it draining water away?.fill base with water so you can see it above the filter and then start a cycle.when it flashes open the door and see if you can still see the water.if water is still there you need to find why its not draining.faulty drain pump or blockages in sumps can stop drain cycle
