How can I fix my rubber backing on drapery?

The sun has caused damage to the rubber backing on my draperies in small areas. Is there any way of fixing that rubber backing? I have many windows in my l.r. and the damage is only on one small drape. I don't want to replace all the drapes.

I would add a seperate detachable lining to go behind the existing curtain. If it is on pleats or tape a lining can be added. However, tabs, wave folds, rod pockets etc would require a seperate track for lining to be hung on.
