it does not seam to heat up in microwave mode

Hi Richard,
Not m/waving can be several things, the most likely suspects are the safety interlock switches and the monitor fuse. following that it is more expensive and more serious. Belling these days as far as I know is just a name but any decent repairer should be able to help.
