Why is my water pressure gauge rising?

water pressure gauge keeps rising to 3/4 bar
ive drained some of the water out & it drops
but after boilers been on for 2+hours pressure starts to rise againe

Expansion vessel usually on the back of the boiler, if u look down the back of the boiler from the top by flue you should see a valve the same as a car tyre valve, press it if water comes out it needs replaceing or if air it may need the air re-pressureising
