unable to relight boiler?

my ideal mexico super boiler has a fault,,if i relight the piulot it stays lit until i release the gas control knob an d then goes out,,,i have replaced the thermocouple and still have the same fault ...any suggestions

Either the pilot is too short and isnt warming the t/couple correctly or the gasvalve has packed in.
