put the cylinder over the dustbin pull the lever upwards now at the same time insert a butter knife into the slot at the bottom gentle ease open the lid check the operation of the catch, put a drop of oil on rear of the lifting catch( in the little square hole behind the bin pull handle with the lid open check the linkage operation at the bottom end may need a drop of oil this end.
