Creda cordielle gas hob ignition?

How can I fix the ignition on my Creda Cordielle gas hob. I lifted the press buttton off and the plunger shaft spring seems to be ok. If it is the ignition generator, how can I accessit. I lifted the control panel cover of but unable to locate the generator.
