removing crank knock sensor with engine in situ ,it is out of veiw. transit 2003 2.4 duratorque

just take the wire of being carefull as it probably as a dodgy clip ,then find a spanner to fit the sensor ,unscew and fit new ,replace wire - its just a sensor that measures the speed of the crank as it spins ,but as u probably found out the van won't start if its broke , hope that helps
