During washing fuse blew on my Philco washer/drier (model WD 1896) but machine worked fine after fuse replaced & finished wash cycle. Problem is door lock refuses to disengage. Have tried running the drier, switching off at the mains & running the wash cycle again but lock still engaged. Any suggestions before I take a sledgehammer to it ?
