paper blockage light on?

I have a epson DX4400. error light comes on, says paper blockage, but no paper is in printer

i have the same problem! i have read on another forum that its due to the activation of the sensor and to fix it you can de-assemble the printer and clean the sensor then put it all back together although I am reluctant to do this!

Please let me know if you found a solution.
