Why is the drum in my BEKO WMA1512W washing machine sounding rough?

Hi there

The drum in my washer has started to make a tremendous
racket recently; when unplugged slowly spinning the drum
gives rise to a metallic chafing sound as if it is catching on
something? I can also hear a clicking noise as it makes
each revolutuon: the washer is approx. 4 and a half years
old, any help much appreciated

2 things spring to mind on this.1) bra wire trapped under the drum or 2) bearings failed
