My slate tiled shed roof has holes through missing tiles. How do I fix it?

Slate tiled shed roof has holes through missing tiles. I think it will also need waterproofing under the tiles again. As a result, a lot of moisture which is affecting the stone walls. How do I go about fixing the roof and protecting the walls?

Slate nail ripper with be required as all slates are nailed to the battens. New slates of course and slate retaining clips as if you take out one slate you cannot re-nail in the new one it has to be held in using a strip of wire or a proper tab. Push the nail ripper up under the slate to be removed and knock it sideways then pull down tap handle flat with a hammer to cut the nail, same for other side. Lift slate slightly to pull off the remaining part of the nail. Slide slate out pull out nail stubs. Fit the clip or wire over the batten lay slate over clip /wire push the slate into positon and bend the end of the clip up to hold the tile in position.
