Ford Sierra Sapphire anti roll bar bushes?

How difficult is it to change the Ford Sierra Sapphire anti roll bar compliance bushes on the front suspension?
I have looked at the Haynes manual and it seems straightforward, but I am not sure how hard it is to (after dismantling anti roll bar) remove the bushes and replace the new ones? Do they drift in okay? Is a bolt through them with two large washers to draw them in place a better idea?
Any hints or tips appreciated. Thanks.

its a pretty basic job the bushes will push back through the bottom arms with a little lubricant and a little effort .dont try to pull them in with a bolt you will end up splitting them. it makes life easier if you take out the inner bolts that secure the lower arms to the crossmember and use a ratchet strap around the roll bar and attached to the opposite side of the car to pull the arms back into place to refit the bolts .if your fitting aftermarket bushes a lot of them come in two halves with a metal sleeve through them which are easier still
