On my DMX50, the interior light comes on and the turntable turns as soon as power is switched on at socket.

All buttons seem to function correctly but the turntable continues to turn.

Also when power is reconnected clock does not flash for a reset?

Hi, short answer, most likely fault is an earth path across the turntable motor "making" the required electrical circuit. Most likely cause a spillage in the cavity running down through to the motor. This will cause these symptoms. Remember if you plan to fix it youself even unplugged devices can kill. It is a 4000VDc machine and not amateur friendly.
